IlliDell of Alpha Gamma Sigma is founded on the principles of leadership and brotherhood. The men of IlliDell have been actively involved in philanthropy events throughout the state, which help us strengthen our understanding of these principles.

Polar Plunge

The men of IlliDell brave the frigid water of Lake of the Woods in Mahomet, Illinois, early each spring semester to help raise money for Special Olympics Illinois. Special Olympics Illinois provides sporting events and the opportunity to be courageous, develop physical fitness and to have the experience of a lifetime for children and adults with intellectual disabilities at no cost to them or their families. In our first year, we raised $1,213 to support these athletes.”

Donations
Each year the men of IlliDell also give back to the Champaign community by providing donations to groups, including the Don Meyers Boys and Girls Club, Lodge 117, Camp New Hope and Adopt-a-Highway.

Service Hours
Many IlliDell members are also part of various clubs on and off campus. With these clubs, our members have volunteered many hours through various service projects and events. These include working with Habitat for Humanity, cleaning animal shelters and various church fundraising events.
